🚀 Anglais : Plans and Predictions : Going to and Will

Texte de l’épisode

Aujourd’hui, on apprend à parler du futur : be going to pour les projets, will pour les prédictions. Pengu demande : What are you going to do tomorrow?

Pour parler du futur, on utilise ces mots de temps : tomorrow demain, next week la semaine prochaine, next year l’année prochaine, in 2050 en 2050.

Pour ce qu’on a décidé à l’avance, donc les projets, on utilise be going to, comme « aller + verbe » en français : je vais rendre visite. Mina raconte son projet du week-end : I’m going to visit my grandma. (Je vais rendre visite à ma grand-mère.)

Le modèle : am / is / are + going to + verbe. I’m going to bake a cake. She’s going to ride her bike. We’re going to watch a film.

Pour la négation, on met not après be : I’m not going to watch TV. Pour la question, be passe au début : Are you going to swim? Réponses courtes : Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.

Pour les prédictions, on utilise will : will + verbe. Il ne change jamais, quelle que soit la personne : I will, she will, they will. Jun imagine 2050 : Robots will help us. I think cars will fly.

On utilise aussi will pour les décisions prises sur le moment et pour proposer son aide. Les livres d’Efe sont tombés ! Ada décide tout de suite : I’ll help you! (I’ll = I will)

Pour la négation, on utilise won’t (will not) : It won’t rain tomorrow. Pour la question, will passe au début : Will robots clean our rooms? Réponses courtes : Yes, they will. / No, they won’t.

Trions ! S’il y a un projet, on utilise going to : We’re going to swim. She’s going to cook. S’il y a une prédiction ou une proposition d’aide, on utilise will : Robots will help us. I’ll carry your bag!

Résumé : am / is / are going to pour un projet, will pour une prédiction, I’ll pour une décision sur le moment ou une proposition d’aide. Maintenant, essaie dans Zaman Yolcusu !
