For people with a network bigger than their memory

Who do you
know in robotics

Remap reads your own LinkedIn export and answers by line of work: which companies fit, who to ask directly, who can pass you on. With a draft message for each.

How it works

One question, start to finish.

Searching names and titles misses most of what your network knows. Remap narrows the way you would if you had the time: the field first, then the companies in it, then who inside to talk to. Here is one question, step by step.

  1. 01

    You ask

Type a field and say what you need: you are building something, need a client or a provider, are raising, or want to know who should see something. Switching redraws the answer at once. One line on what you are doing goes into the drafts.

    a warehouse picking pilot
  2. 02

    Companies in the field

Every company you have a contact at is matched on what it does, not what it is called. Many work in two or three fields and count under each; the more of your question a company covers, the higher it ranks.

    Gripline AutomationRoboticsLogistics
    Aeroduct DronesRoboticsEnergy
    Halka FinanceCryptoLendingPaymentsRWAnot robotics
  3. 03

    People inside

Whoever can decide gets ask directly. Someone at the right company in another role gets ask to pass it on. Someone whose own work fits, at a company that doesn't, gets ask for advice.

  4. 04

    How well you know them

Message counts and dates from your export, never the content, tell close and warm contacts from people you have not spoken to in years. Warm people rise when the fit is equal, and job changes since your last export are marked.

Can D.14 messages, last one a month ago
Elif O.2 messages, three years ago
    Ravi K.Never messagedNew role
  5. 05

    A draft for each

The draft follows the kind of ask and how well you know the person: a reconnect line for someone you have not spoken to in years, congratulations for a new role. English or Turkish. You edit it and send it yourself.

    Hi Elif,

It's been a long time! We never really had the chance to talk about what we're each doing. I'm working on a warehouse picking pilot now. Aeroduct Drones looks like a natural fit. Is this something you could take to the right person there?

Four kinds of ask

The right company is not always the right person. The message changes with it.

Person's role fits
Person's role doesn't
Company fits
Ask directly

They can say yes

Given your work as Head of Partnerships at Halka, you're one of the first people I thought of. 20 minutes next week?
Ask to pass it on

They know who can

Long time! We never had the chance to talk about what we each do. Is this something you could take to the right person?
Company doesn't
Ask for advice

Their own work fits

Your experience in robotics would help me a lot. Could I ask you a few questions?

What you would otherwise miss

Your network moved. Your memory didn't.

New roles

Export again next month and Remap shows who changed jobs since. The person who left robotics sales for an FX role is now your payments contact, and the draft opens with congratulations.

Forgotten but relevant

Contacts you never messaged who fit the question well. They get a reconnect opener instead of a cold one.

Warmth from history

Close, warm, known or dormant, worked out from message counts and dates. Warm contacts rise when the fit is equal.

Who you already asked

Mark a draft as sent, replied or follow up, so the same person does not hear the same ask twice.

Privacy

Your network stays yours.

Your contacts did not sign up for anything. Remap is built so they never have to.

Your own export, nothing scrapedLinkedIn gives every member a copy of their data. Remap reads that file. No login, no crawling.
Opened in your browser, not uploadedYou drop the zip into the page and it is read right there. There is no server and no account; forget your data with one click.
Message content is never readOnly how many messages and when, to tell close contacts from forgotten ones.
Drafts, never sendingEvery message is yours to read, change and send. Remap does not post or message for you.

Start

Three steps. One of them is waiting for LinkedIn.

  1. Ask LinkedIn for your dataSettings, Data privacy, Get a copy of your data. The full archive arrives within a day.
  2. Drop the zip into RemapOpen the app and choose Open your own LinkedIn export. Add an older export too, and it shows who moved.
  3. AskName a field and what you need. Get the map, the reasons and the drafts.
